If I can't get this working in the next few days, it's going back.which is sad cuz I like my Asus F8 laptop, but it came pre-installed etc. When I googled "Asus download slow", I saw posts from 2004 that said their web site and support is HORRIBLE.but I haven't called support, yet.
I've downloaded all but the biggest driver from (the remaining driver is a Chipset driver that is 477MB and download is crawling at 14KB/sec-which is odd, because one of the other drivers, a 65MB driver downloaded at 720+KB/sec what the frak is up with Asus' web site? I kept getting kicked off for hours before I got a steady download.
I updated the BIOS, after I noticed the Safe Mode problem (default BIOS was AM3 compatible, so I didn't want to update unless necessary).
